We are Poznań-based and travel to Tychy for every project. Tychy sits south of Katowice in the GZM — about four and a half hours from Poznań. It is one of Poland's planned socialist new-towns, with a distinctive modernist residential fabric that reads quite differently from the older industrial districts nearby. For architectural and urban-documentation briefs that register is genuinely unusual and worth the Silesian block detour.
