We are Poznań-based and travel to Essen for every project. Essen, at the heart of the Ruhr, is roughly 650 km from Poznań. Given its cultural infrastructure — the Folkwang Museum, the Zollverein colliery UNESCO site, and a dense creative-industry scene — it rewards being combined with adjacent Ruhr cities into a planned multi-day trip from Poznań.

01Is Zollverein a realistic shoot location for a documentary?
Very much so. Zollverein is an active cultural campus with established film-permit procedures, and the architecture photographs beautifully in both industrial and cultural contexts. We handle the access request in pre-production and plan the shoot around the site's visitor rhythms so the footage isn't crowded.
02How long does a documentary film take from brief to delivery?
It depends on scope, but a focused documentary typically runs eight to sixteen weeks: brief and research, a planned shoot block, then edit with two structured feedback rounds. Multi-location or archive-heavy films take longer; we set a realistic lock date in pre-production and hold it.
03Who owns the footage and the final film?
You do. On delivery you receive the masters, the cutdowns, and the archive files outright, with a naming convention you can reuse. We keep a backup for safety, but the work and its rights are yours — there is no licensing trap.
