We are Poznań-based and travel to Lublin for every project. Lublin is one of the longer hauls — around five to six hours east of Poznań. For eastern-Poland briefs we plan deliberately: a multi-day block, a clear shot list agreed in advance, and as much pre-production resolved remotely as possible so the days on the ground are spent shooting, not scouting blind.

01Is Lublin too far for ALN to take on?
Not at all — we travel across Poland and abroad routinely. Lublin simply rewards good planning: we resolve as much as possible before the trip, schedule a multi-day block rather than a flying visit, and quote the travel transparently so there are no surprises in the budget.
02How long does a documentary film take from brief to delivery?
It depends on scope, but a focused documentary typically runs eight to sixteen weeks: brief and research, a planned shoot block, then edit with two structured feedback rounds. Multi-location or archive-heavy films take longer; we set a realistic lock date in pre-production and hold it.
03Who owns the footage and the final film?
You do. On delivery you receive the masters, the cutdowns, and the archive files outright, with a naming convention you can reuse. We keep a backup for safety, but the work and its rights are yours — there is no licensing trap.
