We are Poznań-based and travel to Sosnowiec for every project. Sosnowiec is part of the Silesian metropolis (GZM) — about four and a half hours south of Poznań. In practice it sits minutes from Katowice, Będzin, and the other GZM cities, so a trip here is almost always planned as part of a wider Silesian block rather than a standalone day. That makes the travel cost spread across more deliverables.

01Is there a reason to come to Sosnowiec specifically rather than just Katowice?
Sometimes yes — Sosnowiec has its own industrial landscape, rail-junction history, and residential urban fabric that reads differently from central Katowice. If the brief calls for that texture, we include it. Otherwise we plan it as part of a multi-stop GZM day alongside Katowice.
02How long does a documentary film take from brief to delivery?
It depends on scope, but a focused documentary typically runs eight to sixteen weeks: brief and research, a planned shoot block, then edit with two structured feedback rounds. Multi-location or archive-heavy films take longer; we set a realistic lock date in pre-production and hold it.
03Who owns the footage and the final film?
You do. On delivery you receive the masters, the cutdowns, and the archive files outright, with a naming convention you can reuse. We keep a backup for safety, but the work and its rights are yours — there is no licensing trap.
